Glorianna Davenport began her career as a sculptor, but migrated to production of video and film in the early 1970s. In 1987, she was appointed to faculty in the Media Arts and Sciences Section, and established Interactive Cinema Group as part of the MIT Media Lab. She is internationally recognised for her Workshop in Elastic Movie Time, a course in collaborative interactive media design, and several technologies developed by her have been applied to digital video editing and storytelling systems. She is currently developing an ?evolving documentary' about urban change in downtown Boston, and completing a book on digital story forms.
