Iconography and Transformation:

Narratives can be built around iconographies of place, character, action, theme, and value. Iconography is often specific to a culture and maps more or less well into other cultures. Dreamscapes should connect as fully as possible with culturally diverse iconographies which have achieved global (or at least large- scale) recognition. It is not impossible to imagine that under certain circumstances the Minotaur in the maze might be transformed into Santa Claus at the North Pole collecting his reindeer.
