The Spaces:

The public space provides accidental as well as intentional viewing of visually dynamic dreamscapes, and for accidental or intentional meeting with other participants. Appropriate sensors and communications devices provide feedback of activity in these public spaces to the narrative system. This feedback can be used to affect story state or to launch messages to and from distributed participants.

The audience can participate via actual physical presence in a place, or via distributed sites on the Internet, or (potentially) through devices such as a pager network. In these venues, participants each have a powerful persona (such as Guide, Seer, Goddess, or Demi-God) and are able to manipulate rules for transformation through interactions with the system and among themselves. The media format of the narrative varies according to the venue andthe participants. Transformations occur in response to known and unknown interactions.
