Arjan, Joey, Pascal, Larry, and Steve

  1. Theme or Contextual Framework -- BFC 9000/Society of the Minds.

The participants are representing a cognitive aspect of this world, either as computing components or objects moving through this mind or machine.

They are building blocks of this space or brain.

Human interaction should be the context of communication.

  2. Organizational Structure
The environment is as discussed in (1).
Participants represent different aspects (literal or metaphor) of the computer/mind machinery.
They establish ways of communicating at various levels. There would be processes, functions and software robots that would have different languages and tasks. New ideas can be invented or generated.
There would be opportunities for exchange, professionally and personally.

  3. Language/Communication [Possible language examples]
% Bit representation - a yes or a no, that could lead the way to a higher language of procedures and memory recall.
% Object languages, language is made up of three-dimensional parts or pieces, icon-like.
% User's presence, position, movement, sensed by some sensors and translated into activity.
% Humans talking to computer or to other humans.
% The use of metaphor, visual (color, geometry, 3D manipulation, contemporary iconography, text) gesture, expression.
% Issues we should address are (1) identity, (2) presence (representing other participants) (3) communication (4) consequence of actions.

  4. Narrative/Result:

To have a lasting impact on the space. To leave a trace of the narrative in a "hardcopy" (stream of images, text or structured language).

The world can also be divided up into two spaces orplaces, one that contains a the results of peoples' engagement and effects on the space, the other as the opposite contains no records or history, but constitutes the experience.
