Cambridge Community Fellowship Church
History

Pastor Rah began to develop a vision for urban ministry as he attended Columbia University and later seminary at Gordon-Conwell and Harvard Divinity School. Pastor Rah also served on staff for InterVarsity at M.I.T. and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for some years. After a brief pastorial position at a church in Maryland, Pastor Rah soon returned to the Boston area to plant CCFC and was supported by a church in Maryland, New Covenant Fellowship Church. Meetings began informally with a small group in the spring of 1996. In the fall of 1997, CCFC opened its doors at 234 Franklin St.

Congregation

The congregation is comprised mainly of college students and young adults and numbers around 200. Although this does create a transient element in the congregation, it also brings in an abundance of resources and gifts as well as expanding the area of influence the church may have.
