Oral Narrative:

Summer Kiss is a story about the summer sun, summer camp, and a first summer kiss. It takes about 12 minutes to tell.

Written Narrative:

Running is a story I wrote in 1996, originally for oral performance, then modified for print. It is a story about not being allowed to do what one loves to do - being denied what comes naturally.

Scientific:

Pas de Deux - The Dance of Digital Design (pdf or html) was published in the Spring 2001 issue of the Design Management Journal. It is about finding the answers to digital interface complexity through the metaphor of dance choreography and the familarity of narrative.

Technical:

Chapter 4 of my dissertation is a detailed description of Agent Stories, the software tool created as part of my research. The section included here is a description of the language Agent Stories uses to provide written feedback to the writer.
