Designed for the 1997 Bank of the West Tennis Classic, the TekSport Academy offers a unique 5 day workshop program in electronic journalism to scholarship students from East Palo Alto. The five day curriculum will focus on the visual exploration of a live event. Students will create self portraits and collaboratively cover a high profile tennis event using digital cameras and portable Hitachi notebook computers. Students will learn how to present their work in a variety of venues from a large screen display to a collaboratively designed WWW site.
