Andrea P. Leers, FAIA, began architectural practice in the Boston area in 1970. In 1982, she and Jane Weinzapfel formed Leers, Weinzapfel Associates. It is currently a thirty person firm. As principal, Ms. Leers has directed the design of a wide variety of building projects for institutional, public and commercial clients.

Andrea Leers taught at Harvard's Graduate School of Design from 1975 to 1978 and in 1990. She taught at Yale University School of Architecture from 1980 to 1989. Ms. Leers has been Visiting Critic at the University of Pennsylvania, MIT and recently at the Tokyo Intitute of Technology.
Ms. Leers recievedthe Master of Architecture degree in 1966 from the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Fine Arts, led by Louis Kahn. She received the Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College in 1964. She is a Registered Architect in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Indiana, with NCARB certification.
