The Gulf War has been described as an information war both for its extensive use of communications technology and for the way in which the US government manipulated US media. In this "evolving documentary" Gilberte Houbart interviewed Paul Strassmann, former Director of Information at the Pentagon, three jounalists from the Boston Globe who were foreign correspondents in Iraq during the war, as well as Alvin & Heidi Toffler, authors of "War and Anti-War".

The presentation system, "Viewpoints on Demand," requested input from the audience regarding story title, time and point of view. The system would edit and present the story on the fly.
